With a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol and sustainable agricultural products.
To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months. As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries.
Position Vacancy
We are seeking applications from suitable candidates to fill multiple positions within our CoGeneration Operations at Pioneer Mill in Brandon. The Bagasse Truck Drivers will commence in March and will continue through the 2024 Crushing period which will end around December. The position is responsible for operating mobile plant, such as loaders and trucks, and carting bagasse from our stockpiles to the Mill. The roster is continuous shift of 12hrs on a 4/5 lifestyle roster, and a reasonable amount of overtime can be expected.

- Operating mobile plant as required
- Completion of pre-starts and cleaning of equipment
- Reporting of equipment faults and damage/incidents
- General Mill Worker duties i.e. cleaning, clearing chokes, assisting tradesmen etc.
- Bagasse carting as required
- Carry out other duties as required by Operations Coordinator
- Hold a manual 'HR' & 'C' class driver's license
- Hold a current Front End Loader ticket
- Possess excellent communicate skills
