Consultant To Global IT Head

Job Summary

As consultant to Head of Global IT, you will be responsible for providing strategic consultation and guidance in the development, implementation, and management of the organization's worldwide IT infrastructure, contributing to the Basic All Right IT strategy. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global IT industry, a deep understanding of technological trends, and the ability to drive innovation within the organization. Pharmaceutical Industrial background would be a strong asset.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in IT infrastructure to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Consultation and Advisory:

• Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, providing expert advice on global IT infrastructure matters.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their technology needs and provide strategic recommendations.

Architecture and Design:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable global IT infrastructure solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the organization's infrastructure landscape.
• Always be responsible for robust and user experience driven IT infrastructure service.

Vendor Management:

• Evaluate and select technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee the performance of third-party service providers and hold them accountable for meeting service level agreements.

Risk Management:

• Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to protect against cyber threats.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a high-performing global IT infrastructure team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop team members, ensuring the growth and professional development of staff.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior-level IT infrastructure role with a global focus.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale IT infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency In English and Mandarin, as working business language.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CCIE, PMP) are a plus.
