This is what you will do:
The Senior Business Intelligence & Analytics Analyst reports to the IT Director of Insights and Analytics and is a crucial role in our organization. You will be a key member of our IT team, playing an essential part in developing and implementing innovative BI and Analytics solutions for our business. Your expertise in Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Science will be vital for designing, building, and deploying production-ready solutions at scale.
You will be responsible for:
  • Leading the development and implementation of BI infrastructure and tools to extract insights from data
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and solve business problems using advanced analytics techniques
  • Designing, developing, and implementing production-grade BI and analytics solutions that meet business requirements
  • Overseeing the creation, testing, and validation of business intelligence reports and dashboards
  • Ensuring that BI and analytics solutions meet high-quality standards, including scalability, maintainability, and performance
  • Communicating with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on the progress of BI and analytics projects
  • Developing assets, accelerators, and thought capital for your practice by providing best in class framework and reusable components
  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines to automate data workflows and integrating them with existing IT systems
You will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in developing and deploying BI and analytics solutions in production environments
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikSense, and data warehousing solutions like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
  • Experience with one or more data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Luigi, or Apache Beam)
  • Experience working with data analytics tools like R, Python, and SQL
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and experience with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or ggplot2
  • Proficiency in BI best practices, including data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and monitoring
  • Understanding of hypothesis testing (A/B testing) and data science, ML methodologies
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Understanding of development best practices and agile methodologies
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to work independently and self-driven with strong problem-solving skills

  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. We would prefer for you to have:
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related fields
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of data science techniques and tools, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning
