The Role
The successful Market Access Manager’s primary responsibility will be in leading, developing and
implementing the payor strategy and in meeting Aspire’s financial, sales objectives for the Pathway portfolio.
Holding sole accountability for the commercial success of the region, the RMAM will be responsible for pursuing competitive advantage through identifying, accessing and developing new business
opportunities within ICBs across the Midlands. The role requires a deep understanding and network of regional decision makers, account performance and an ability to align business objectives to both Aspire Pharma’s strategy and the NHS customer needs.
What will you be doing?
- Working closely with Primary Care decision makers including ICB Medicines management teams and relevant clinical advocates to gain preferential positioning for and growth of Aspire’s Pathway Portfolio (Respiratory, CNS, Dermatology, Pain & Cardiovascular & Urology).
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of national and local policy objectives and apply this to identify opportunities for business growth and key drivers for change.
- Generate sales by supporting the customer/patient needs and requirements
- Drive mapping, segmentation, and prioritisation of local accounts according to potential and
- and use such analysis to continually inform account planning.
- Monitor and critically review implementation of tactical plans against key performance
- success factors and to take corrective action as required.
The Person
- Experience of working in a market access role maintaining a robust payor network across the Midlands region.
- Ideally with experience of branded generic commercialisation and or experienced in cross portfolio selling.
- A great team player who is a target driven, tenacious, self-starter and who can think outside of the box to develop ‘win win’ solutions.
- Strong project management skills, as there is an expectation for organising and agreeing responsibilities for each individual account, whilst being able to engage resource cross functionally within the organisation.
- Excellent networking, communication and influencing skills.
- Desire to achieve sales excellence.
