The company has Development Centers in Shanghai and Innovation Center in Maryland USA, as well as cGMP and commercial manufacturing sites in Shanghai. The core business of the company is to provide CDMO services to both biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Their integrated CDMO services starting from pre-clinical research to commercial manufacturing, as well as customized cell culture media development, enable and accelerate the R&D and commercialization of innovative biologics for biotech and pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

Position: Associate Director/Director/Senior Director, International Business Development

Location: San Francisco, CA

We are currently seeking talented and experienced business development (BD) executives to join our International BD team in San Francisco, CA. This position offers exciting opportunities to study and review the competitive landscape in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry around the world. This candidate will make great efforts for company’s international business development. The candidate will engage in identifying new customers and new service offering opportunity and in achieving the organization sales goals.

Responsibilities:

· Establish the international business develop and sales company to support the revenue goals for the organization;

· Keep breadth of the competitive landscape in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry to actively identify potential new customers for our service offering;

· Establish and cultivate relationships with innovation leaders in biotech and pharmaceutical industries to identify the future needs for services that the company could provide;

· Work with Business Development team in China and the scientific team in the US to support customers with their project needs and to boost the success with our existing and future customers;

· Deeply understand customer needs to ensure accuracy, timely response, and proposals to deliver a memorable customer experience;

· Develop a pipeline of new prospects with both local and global customers through market research and analysis;

· Offer reports regarding status of projects, opportunities, predictions, orders won/lost etc., in a timely manner.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or above, in sciences-related field; Ph.D. degree is a plus;

· 3-5 years of business development experience in sales and BD within pertinent organizations;

· Proven track record of prior business development success;

· Good grasp of the trend and new concepts in pharmaceutical development;

· Strategic thinker and the ability to multitasking, positive outlook with ability to adapt to business trips;

· Knowledge of biologic drug discovery, development and manufacturing is a strong plus;

· A dedicated individual with a solid professional ethical mindset.
