We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter who has experienced in Pharmaceutical, medical devices. M-F 7AM-3PM. Great Salary + Benefits
The Company
Our client develops and manufactures innovative pharmaceuticals in critical therapeutic disease areas such as cystic fibrosis, oncology and pain.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter who has experienced in Pharmaceutical, medical devices or FMCG. This is a full-time permanent position based in the vibrant North Shore of Sydney. With a focus on work-life balance, you'll enjoy consistent hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional weekend flexibility.
Responsibilities
  • Undertake vital maintenance tasks on crucial equipment and systems, including purified water systems, boilers, trade waste systems, and filling and packaging equipment.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation is maintained in our advanced Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Swiftly address breakdowns and troubleshoot faults, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Analyse and report breakdown root causes, demonstrating your proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strictly adhere to the maintenance schedule, guaranteeing the optimal functioning of our facilities.
  • Collaborate with external service providers to coordinate maintenance activities seamlessly.
The Candidate
  • Bring your technical expertise in equipment maintenance, backed by a relevant trade qualification.
  • Leverage your industry experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or FMCG, coupled with a deep understanding of cGMP or similar regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with systems such as purified water systems, boilers, trade waste systems, and filling and packaging equipment.
  • Basic understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Competence with computerized control systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
