Exclusively partnered with a consultancy seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in Biometrics to lead the strategic growth initiatives in this specialized field. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of biometric technologies, along with a proven track record of driving business development efforts within the life sciences industry.


  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth in the biometrics sector.
  2. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, contract research organizations (CROs), and academic institutions.
  3. Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and presentations.
  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of clients in the biometrics and biostatistics space.
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and decision-makers.
  7. Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking functions to promote our capabilities and expand our presence in the market.
  8. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of business development professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.


  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the life sciences industry, with a focus on biometrics.
  2. Proven track record of successfully driving business development initiatives and achieving revenue targets.
  3. Strong understanding of biometric methodologies, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  7. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences, and support business development activities.
