General Description
Ideally you have experience in haemato-oncology and or oncology, an existing network of haemato-oncologists and/or oncologists and knowledge of the France and BeLux markets health care system with relationship to access, based on local and regional guidelines. You are committed to engaging with key opinions leaders and other experts and professional research organizations to align our internal medical strategy with their research strategy, their local needs and demands in data generation in order to fill in existing data gaps and to deliver the data of our pivotal trials; all to ensure the right data are available to support registration and reimbursement of our innovative medicines, making them accessible for patients with haemato-oncological malignancies. With your knowledge of haemato-oncology and oncology you support healthcare professionals in the treatment of patients suffering from haemato-oncological diseases by providing them the correct and most up-to-date scientific information, (omnichannel) medical education and other modalities to improve clinical practice.

Essential Functions Of The Job
- Be the local medical expert within the field of haemato-oncology and serve as the first point of contact for national key opinion leaders and corresponding scientific organizations.
- Establish and maintain credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with national and regional key opinion leaders predominantly via field activity
- Facilitate and monitor strategic partnerships with scientific/clinical experts and serve as an enterprise-level point of contact with academic institutions and research consortia
- Serve as the primary liaison for the submission and review of Investigator Sponsored Research proposals, facilitating the process from concept submission through publication
- Identify and verify investigators and sites for company-sponsored clinical trials
- Align research strategies of academic centers and professional scientific associations with BeiGene’s internal strategy, by jointly filling in data/research gaps to support access for the current and future haemato-oncology portfolio of BeiGene
- Provide education to the medical community on BeiGene products and disease areas of focus, in close collaboration with field Medical team and with the Key Account Managers
- Facilitate responses to unsolicited requests for medical information, in direct collaboration with BeiGene Medical Information Services personnel and Scientific Advisors
- Serve as an internal resource of clinical and scientific information from medical interactions and support medical affairs scientific update
- Provide impactful feedback/information to internal stakeholders on emerging clinical and scientific trends from external interactions to help shape company research, and to ensure the safe and appropriate use of BeiGene products
- Contribute to or perform therapeutic area/indication research and competitor analysis. Assist in the development and execution of clinically relevant medical meetings (e.g., advisory boards, consultancy and investigator meetings), as requested
- Work cross-functionally with market access colleagues to provide balanced and accurate information to payors and governmental institutes
- Build strong relationships with internal Medical Affairs colleagues and collaborate with the European and Global Medical Affairs teams
- Collaborate with marketing in development or localization of promotional materials, ensuring the materials are fully align with the available data and compliance/regulatory requirements
- Provide scientific training and update on BeiGene products to sales force, ensuring solid preparation about on label data, accordingly to local Regulatory rules
- Work in a compliant manner and contribute to the culture of the wider team
Education Required
- Life science degree (preferably MD or PhD) or equivalent professional experience
- Experienced in the field as Medical Science Liaison or Medical Advisor within other biotech/pharmaceutical companies, with a track record of developing deep scientific relationships.
- Experience in hematology/oncology strongly preferred; candidates with experience in other related therapeutic areas (i.e. immunology) may be considered if they demonstrate clear potential to apply their existing skills to haemato-oncology.
- High level of English communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and cross functional collaboration skills

- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken), other European language an advantage
- Travel is expected within the region, as well as to national meetings
- Participation at national and international congresses and events
