Operating as a progressive & highly respected global pharmaceutical organisation, our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers & suppliers of health based consumer products & is well known for its operational excellence and passion for innovation.
Due to a new CAPEX Project work, an opportunity has now arisen for a Process Engineer with a pharmaceutical/food background to be involved in commissioning & qualification experience with functional testing experience.
About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, key duties include the following:
- Responsible for installation, commissioning & qualification of a range of CIP equipment. ie vessels, part washers.
- Create & maintain project lifecycle documentation for commissioning & verification of the facility and process design. (P&ID's, PFD's, datasheets, specifications)
- Responsible for functional commissioning testing with step machine through recipes.
- Develop & analyze commissioning trends for troubleshooting & interpreting plant cycle time.
- Verify installation & CIP commissioning of facility equipment & plant as per specifications as per drawings.
- Manage the process through the project delivery stages.
- Work within a cross-functional project team, including Engineers, Contractors, Facility Stakeholders & Project Control Teams.
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical).
- At least 3 to 5 years process project engineering experience within pharmaceutical/FMCG or food related industry.
- Familiar with technical engineering documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, specifications).
- Good problem solving & technical skillset, time management & prioritizing skills.
- Sound understanding of managing projects from start to finish.
- Sound understanding of regulatory guidelines.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels.
This is an Excellent Long Term Contract Opportunity for a Process Engineer with strong installation & commissioning process engineering CIP experience within the pharmaceutical/food industry to work on major CAPEX projects for large pharmaceutical organisation.
