We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist I to join our dynamic and innovative research team focused on the development of long-acting injectable formulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of pharmaceutical science and make a profound impact on patients' lives.
Responsibilities

- Lead and conduct research activities related to drug product development.
- Design, plan, and execute experiments to evaluate the performance and formulation optimization.
- Develop and validate analytical methods to characterize and assess drug product stability, release kinetics, and other critical attributes.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including formulation scientists, analytical chemists, and project managers, to drive projects forward.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in drug delivery technologies and actively contribute to scientific discussions and strategic planning.
- Mentor junior scientists and provide technical guidance and expertise as needed.
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry typically with 10 to 12 (BS), 8 to 10 (MS), or 0 to 4 (Ph.D.) years related industry experience.
- Proficient in a variety of analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, DSC, particle size analysis, etc.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation development, drug delivery principles, and associated analytical techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully leading research projects, generating innovative solutions, and delivering results within agreed timelines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
- Relevant industry experience in the development of long-acting injectables or related drug delivery systems.
- Experience with regulatory guidelines and requirements for long-acting injectable products is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
- Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo.
- Creates a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement.
