Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Automation Engineer located in Macquarie Park, NSW. The Lead Automation Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day operations associated with the role such as troubleshooting, process control, electrical engineering, automation and robotics. The Lead Automation Engineer will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers and working on technically difficult projects. This is a customer facing role and will require client relationship and management skills. Our main clients are pharmaceutical companies so we would prefer related experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting, process control, electrical engineering, automation, and robotics
• Leadership skills and experience managing a team of engineers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation or related field
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI design and software development (Ideally Siemens)
• Experience with Vision Systems, Robotic Programming, and Motion Control is a plus
