Job Overview:
We are excited to offer a 12-week remote ($20-25) Financial Analyst Internship opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience within our Global Finance Team. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support various Fortrea business partner projects and contribute to the advancement of financial decision making.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Collaborate with Global FP&A in establishing standard reporting to be utilized across all segments and functions of Fortrea to drive insight for business leaders
• Participate in monthly close process with FP&A partners to learn more about financial controls and analysis used to discuss financial results
• Assist in development of quarterly and year to go planning for business unis to help inform business leaders of current operational and financial forecasts
• Work with operational partners to help drive insight into departmental use of time recording to better understand billable productivity
• Participate in regular meetings with Finance Management and business management to help inform and drive decision making
• Assist in preparation of financial analysis for a capital expenditure request to be presented to management committee
• Identify opportunities to automate/simplify forecasting or reporting processes
• Work on ad-hoc analysis/projects
  

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• A rising junior or senior undergraduate or graduate candidate in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Business or related major.
• Strong independent action oriented individual
• Ability to communicate with individuals across all levels of the organization (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
