Supply Chain Specialist

In this role you will be overseeing Supply Chain Execution activities within External Manufacturing Operations, primarily supporting the Focus Factory Team of our client with material movement transactions, logistics activities and inventory management support.

In detail:

• Material Movement & Logistics Support execution:

o Goods Issue/Receipt for inbound and/or outbound materials : global, e.g. : India to Europe - Europe to US - etc...

o Arrange / Confirm/ Track Shipment & documentation (boat, road, plain)

o Import/Export

o Cold Chain Management

o Duty Drawbacks

o Manage and resolve issues/delays with shipment

o Manage shipments of samples

• Inventory Management Support

o Physical inventory cycle count participation (at the supplier), where applicable - travel therefore is possible but not mandatory, this is always a request and can be delegated.

o Inventory Reconciliation and Inventory of Questionable Value preparation

• Additional expectations

o Performs activities in an accurate and timely manner to drive Delivery performance, such as ICSL and IOTIF.

o Executes processes in a manner that proactively identifies, mitigates, manages and prevents supply issues.

o If an issue occurs, supports root cause evaluation and continuous improvement

Profile:

• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial/business and/or manufacturing/ operations in a global environment.
• Logistic background within Supply Chain. Project Management experience is crucial.
• Software Skills:

- SAP

- Excel : deep knowledge

- Power BI (build reports) is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration as well as the ability to work independently with minimal coaching.
