Scientist, Immuno-Oncology Discovery

Our large pharmaceutical client is seeking a passionate and talented Scientist to join their Immuno-oncology Translational Research team in Spring House, PA. This individual will be responsible for driving forward scientific research programs with novel assay implementation to support translational research for our immune-oncology portfolio in a dynamic research environment. The candidate will participate in a highly collaborative and interactive environment to execute experimental approaches to support preclinical biology and clinical assets. Other responsibilities include:

• Design, perform and interpret complex in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo experiments
• Execute multi-parameter flow cytometry (FACS) assays end-to-end including: the panel development, set-up and running samples on the instrument, and downstream analysis
• Designing, developing, and performing robust in vitro cell assays that incorporate functional readouts, including activation, proliferation, cytokine production, and cytotoxicity
• Analyze and present data and conduct peer review of data
• Contribute and support various projects and collaborate with stakeholders from all relevant functions

Qualifications:

• M.S. 4+ years of research experience or a B.S. with 6+ years of research experience (industry is a plus but not necessary)
• 4+ years of Multi-color Flow Cytometry experience
• Experience with immune cell isolation from whole blood (tissues or tumor dissociation is highly valuable) and experience with primary cell culture techniques
• Extensive hands-on experience developing, implementing, and running highly multiplexed flow cytometry
• Background in oncology and/or immunology is desirable

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Salary: $90,000-$120,000 (flexible based on experience)

PTO: 10 PTO days annually & 6 paid sick days

Hiring Method: Multiyear contract – After 1 year on contract, the individual will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent role or have their contract renewed for another year
