Specialty Pharmaceuticals are generally high-priced drugs for rare and chronic diseases such as cancer, HIV or hemophilia. Many of the newly developed therapies for these disease patterns are individualized. These include infusions, for example, each of which is compiled and produced on the basis of parameters such as body weight and body surface.

Tasks:

• Participation in the further development, implementation, and management of the Medios sustainability strategy and definition of relevant ESG targets and KPIs
• Responsibility for Group-wide mandatory publications as part of sustainability reporting (CSRD, EU taxonomy)
• Identification and evaluation of changing legal and political framework conditions
• ESG data and emissions accounting with the help of the IT-supported ESG data management system used in the Medios Group
• Responsibility for and coordination of Group-wide ESG data collection, data analysis, database maintenance, and emissions accounting, including further development
• Support with sustainability and ESG projects
• Collaboration with various Medios departments and managers in the context of reporting – in particular, close coordination with the Finance department
• Processing ESG ratings to improve ESG performance (e.g. Carbon Disclosure Project, ISS ESG, Sustainalystics)
• Preparation and follow-up of events and appointments (e.g. ESG committee meetings, investor meetings)
• Updating and creating documents for internal and external ESG communication, including presentations and the ESG website
• Coordination and management of consultants and service providers in the area of sustainability
• Responsibility for other topics, such as participation in the preparation of the Annual General Meeting and financial reporting, answering investor inquiries, and other tasks in connection with the reporting obligations of a listed company

What you bring along:

• Completed studies in economics, environmental management, or a comparable degree program, ideally with a focus on sustainability
• At least two years of professional experience in a comparable position – in the field of ESG, experience in sustainability an advantage
• Sound expertise in ESG topics, including relevant knowledge of reporting and sustainability standards; knowledge of regulations and laws in the area of sustainability (e.g. CSRD, EU taxonomy) an advantage
• Knowledge of strategy and concept development in the area of sustainability
• Independent and structured way of working; experience in project management an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
