A great opportunity for an experienced Automation Project Engineer join the central Engineering Team at a global pharmaceutical company in County Armagh.

The Automation Project Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of projects associated with building automation and process control in accordance with GAMP 5 standards.

Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of automation systems to manage specification, design and installation projects
• Commission, upgrade and modify automation systems including Building Management Systems, Environmental Systems and Process Control
• Specify and review equipment specification and installation
• Act as point of contact and supervise 3rd party contractors
• Provide technical training on use of new and existing automation equipment
• Assist in the development of automation standards and identify new technology

Requirements:

• HND/Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline;
• Experience of delivering electrical projects in the pharmaceutical or similar highly regulated industry
• Experience of systems specification, design, installation, commissioning and project management of utility equipment
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems such as Eurotherm Wonderware, Schneider or Cylon.
• Experience of Emerson Delta V DCS
• Experience of Field Instrumentation
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral
• High attention to detail
