Whom do We need?

This role is a great opportunity to flex your enterprise-level AWS and IAC skills. You will work across multiple AWS accounts and AWS services using IAC to deliver sustainable environments to a very diverse set of customers. You will have the opportunity to be part of the service development and collaborate in a team that will push your abilities and present new challenges frequently. You will be central to improving our ability to deliver a high-quality experience to our customers across China.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Engage with customers.
• To respond to requests for assistance quickly and maintain high-quality communication.
• To help them understand and leverage standard infrastructure patterns.
• To provide guidance on AWS services and IAC.
• Collaborate with the Team.
• To provide input into the evolution of the service and ensure that the requirements of our East Asia-based customers are included.
• To actively participate in and contribute to discussions and decisions on service development.
• To ensure our service is clearly documented.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience working in a highly technical role with Pharmaceutical/life sciences industry experience highly preferable.
• Experience with a broad range of AWS services preferably with at least the Cloud Practitioner certification.
• Experience and confidence using IAC with Terraform experience a notable advantage.
• Experience working inside a large, globally distributed enterprise.
• Demonstrable experience with customer facing roles.
• Familiarity with Agile team processes preferably using Jira as the process delivery tool.
• Good written and spoken English.

Additional Notes

• The ideal candidate will be based in East Asia and be fluent in Mandarin.
• Familiarity and comfort with working remotely including being on camera during video calls.
• A proven self-starter able to identify opportunities and challenges.
