What we'll need you to bring

15 hours per week (over 2 days Monday and Tuesday)
Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Pharmacy within University Hospital Hairmyres.

- To create purchase orders for pharmaceutical stock, process goods received onto the stock control system, process goods which require to be returned to suppliers and liaise with suppliers.
- To support the procurement process for new and specialised pharmaceuticals
- To provide clerical and administrative support to pharmacy

What we'll need you to bring
- Practical knowledge of office systems gained through SVQ111 or equivalent
- Experience of working in an office procurement environment
- Understanding of Standing Financial Instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Practical knowledge of office systems gained through SVQ III or equivalent.
- To participate in public holiday working.
- To be flexible and willing to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department.
