Our Pharmacy department at Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist - with an interest in surgery - to join the team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and self-motivating pharmacist to integrate with the pharmacy team and the wider Multi-Disciplinary teams to deliver an outstanding level of service to our elective surgical patients. As a key member of the wider multi-disciplinary team at Nuffield Health, you will feel the benefit from processes that fully integrate medicines into the personalised pathway of care for our patients.

The ideal candidate will work flexibly to meet the demands of the service, which will include working Saturdays on a rotation.

You will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and you’ll have proven post-qualification experience. It’s also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you’ll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff.

As a Pharmacist, you will:

• Join our talented multidisciplinary team
• Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where it’s needed
• Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres
• Have experience working in a hospital setting

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments. Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
