Location: Initially office based in London with the opportunity to relocate to Melbourne, Australia.
Please note, this role will require you to work APAC hours from the UK to align with our team in Melbourne.

Primary Responsibilities:
- You will be at the forefront of our business development team to significantly drive sales efforts within the region, identify new opportunities with clients for services including Permanent, Contract /Freelance, and SOW staffing.
- Actively seek new business opportunities through a variety of channels, working intelligently in line with market developments and Planet Pharma’s sales strategy.
- Effectively communicate with and work with our internal Recruitment Delivery team in order to meet client hiring needs.
- Work in a solution orientated manner to proactively promote Planet Pharma and successfully secure new clients and assignments.
- Develop, build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and work with internal and external stakeholders to create communication lines to support successful fulfilment of client needs.
- Negotiate and conclude deals with clients and propose contracts / service agreements (MSAs) in accordance with the pricing policy and in consultation with the direct manager.
- Handle the communication between client portfolio and various internal departments, by acting as a primary point of contact, in order to drive opportunity and keep clients optimally informed.
- Some travel will be required in order to visit clients
Desired Skills & Experience:
✔ Demonstrable track record of successful business development within Recruitment/Staffing Solutions across the Life Science/Pharma industry.
✔ Strong commercial acumen.
✔ A proactive and strategic approach with experience in successfully building a division/desk.
✔ Life Science/Pharma staffing experience required - open to vertical.
✔ Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Word)
✔ Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and fluent in English, additional language skills are an advantage but not necessity.
