PM Group is looking for a SHE Specialist to join the team at a biopharmaceutical site in Northumberland.
Responsibilities
- Provision of independent safety & environmental advice and support across all departments at site level.
- Promotion of EHS excellence culture at site and provision of high-quality technical and ethical support at all levels of the site operations.
- The role involves maintaining the practical application of the company safety and environmental management standards integrating the relevant UK legal requirements.
- Essentially self-directing the position holder should be able to generate their own workloads and priorities.
- Ensure site systems and procedures deliver compliance with UK legislation
- Development, definition and monitoring of EHS metrics
- Investigate accidents and incidents and determine appropriate action
Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant qualification and experience in EHS management (NEBOSH, diploma, degree)
- Industry experience within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical
- Membership in a Professional Institute
- Relevant technical and operational knowledge
- Ability to respond to changing priorities
