Portfolio Management, (Senior) Director

Responsibilities：

The role will be responsible for developing portfolio analysis and strategic insights to drive decision making around HUTCHMED R&D Portfolio.

- Work closely with R&D team to provide development strategic planning for R&D portfolio near and long-term goals.

- Monitor and evaluate external competitive environment, lead R&D benchmarking analytics to proactively identify opportunities and clinical development plans on R&D portfolio and help mitigate threats to existing portfolio and pipeline.

- Facilitating portfolio prioritization based on scientific, clinical and commercial opportunity and risk to ensure the portfolio is focused on the right projects to achieve the overall strategic goal.

- Along with R&D, to ensure that molecules recommended for feasibility and development are aligned with unmet market needs.

Qualifications:

- Ph.D in Medical, Clinical, Chemistry, Biology or related fields.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech R&D environment

- Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of drug development in the pharmaceutical industry, especially a strong knowledge of the drug R&D process or business development

- Fluent business English and outstanding business writing skills.

- Highly skilled strategist with proven analytical skills and affinity with complex data sets, with pharmaceutical sector experience or experience of close working with the pharmaceutical sector

- Proven expertise at working within complex matrix environments
