Internal Auditor

We are seeking an Internal Auditor for a company in the Pharmaceutical sector located in Leuven.

You responsibilities as the new Internal Auditor:

You will have an essential role in internal controls, continuous improvement, and reporting.

Internal Controls:

• Develop, maintain, and update the internal control framework.
• Manage monthly reporting.
• Oversee the digital transformation of internal controls.
• Implement a risk-based approach.
• Collaborate with departments, local personnel, and process owners.
• Review monthly assessments of internal controls and monitor gaps and remediation actions.
• Establish and track the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plan.
• Play an active role in the strategic development of the internal audit department.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay informed about trends and developments in the internal audit field.

Reporting:

• Report internal control issues to the Internal Audit & J-SOX Manager.

As the ideal candidate:

• You hold a Master's degree in Accountancy, Applied Economic Sciences, or a similar field.
• You have a minimum of three years of experience in audit or controlling
• Your communication skills in English are excellent. Proficiency in other languages is a valuable asset.
