Job Description
As the Director of Sales in North America, you will lead a team of experienced technical sales professionals in achieving business growth plans, primarily for our Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) solutions in the Oil and Gas industry.
Position can be based in any Oil and Gas Basin, with preference given to Houston, Pittsburgh or Dallas.
Your Contribution
FLIR optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras help our customers spot hydrocarbons and many other industrial gases quickly, accurately, and safely—without shutting down systems. These cameras are often used to help meet corporate ESG goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance productivity for our users.
In the Director of Sales role, you will lead strategic planning for the region, consultative forecasting with the sales team, providing technical support of the solutions offered, and other managerial aspects of the position.
You will work closely with cross functional team members in business development, marketing, and product management, to collectively grow the business and meet business objectives. And as part of this role, you will be a leadership voice to key stakeholders in the oil and gas industry utilizing our technology.

  • Microsoft Office, CRM, and SAP experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Solution orientation and resourcefulness
