We are looking for a dynamic, data-driven professional to join our Trusted Data team, based in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About The Role
The main objective of the Trusted Data team is to create value out of scientific data generated by production plants and laboratory development (Development, Manufacturing & Supply Operations - DMSO).
The candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, designing and developing solutions, and working with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption. They will also be responsible for the management of our BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot platform, its users and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Act as Business Analyst, scout out ways to generate value from our knowledge base:
- Support digital business transformation program
- Scout for continuous improvement in DMSO operations
- Provide industrial and data management expertise to remove friction points in accessing critical information, supporting the generation of meaningful insights
- Act as Process & Data Owner and Developer for BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot:
- Development, validation and maintenance (issue resolution) of protocols
- Manage the platform lifecycle and roadmap
- Train key users and other developers
- Promote and enforce DMSO Data Governance and good practices
- Change Management and Communication:
- Ensure successful adoption of solutions
- Participate in data Communities of Practice
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Pharmacy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis in pharmaceutical / related environment
- 3+ years of experience as a developer, using programming languages such as: Python, PilotScript, R, JavaScript, SQL, C#
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
